Description
Made by hand here in the UK from 450g CSM fibre glass with a flexible white gel base coat. Constructed of chopped strand mat fibreglass and reinforced around mounting points and edges. This gives a good balance of strength, flexibility and lightness.
Why 450g CSM fibreglass? Because due to the random direction of the strands it provides a balanced strength in all directions, it also responds to and moulds to angles better with just one layer. As opposed to woven alternatives that still require a first layer of a CSM anyway and often create air gaps between the gel and the fibreglass, resulting in a brittle flakey gel coat.

It is recommended that it is fitted using shouldered bolts and soft washers to prevent damage from over tightening against the surface.PLEASE NOTE; This item will be sent on a tracked service and will require a signature. supplied ready for preparation and painting (if you wish to paint it) supplied in white gel base coat, (This means it will need drilling, sanding, painting etc if you wish and may have some moulding marks that may need sanding). Also please bear in mind some modifying may be needed to allow fitment of a side stand if required due to the nature of enclosed belly pans for ACU regulations. No part is intended to take any load or form any part of the structure and all parts are to be fitted by a qualified and competent person, with all relevent checks to be performed before and after fitting as no liability or warranty is accepted or offered.This item is not intended for road use and is a motorsport part only and as with the nature of all motorsport products no liability in any form will be accepted.
